New Hope Crisis Center

Provides crisis intervention, domestic violence shelter/hotline/support groups, protective and restraining orders, crime victim support, life skills education, and legal information all to help alleviate individual suffering due to domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking. Related volunteer opportunities also available.

Description:

Provides immediate 24/7 assistance for anyone who has experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, dating violence, or stalking. Support can include steps to ensure the person's safety, short-term emotional support, assistance with shelter, or referrals for services.

Support group whose members are individuals who have been involved in any type of physical or emotional abuse involving a spouse, family member, roommate, or others. Groups are available for children at coinciding times. Support groups typically do not meet over the summer. Support group also available for parents/guardians who have had a child who has been sexually abused.
