A nonresidential independent living center providing personal assistance services for people with visual, physical, and mental disabilities.
Provides support group interaction for people with visual, physical, and mental disabilities and their family members. Groups include health relationships, low vision, wellness recovery action plan (WRAP) for healthy aging/healthy life, woman's anxiety, therapy and mental well being, and youth.
Provides assistance, consultation, and public education on access and barrier removal for people with visual, physical, and mental disabilities, to gain more control and independence over their lives.
Complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and relevant guidance. Assures that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, citizenship status, national origin, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, age, religion, creed, physical or mental disability, marital status, veteran status, political affiliation, or any other factor protected by law be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
Provides and maintains assistive devices for the general public with priority to residents in program service area. Loan of equipment is up to 90 day; possible extensions if necessary.

Casework to ensure clients with visual, physical, and mental disabilities receive the help needed; case plans are targeted.
Transportation is available only for those participating in program sponsored activities: grocery shopping trips, support groups, and recreational opportunities.
