Dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities find and sustain meaningful employment. Works with a variety of community partners to customize employment based on client specific skills, abilities and employment preferences.
Provides trained Direct Support Professionals to assist with temporary care for children and adults. These services are offered anytime-weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Respite Care provides a safe place for the child or adult and maintains consistency and continuity of care in their lives.
Adults with disabilities receive care that is specific to their needs using a person-centered philosophy. Residents are encouraged to make choices in their daily routines, their roommates and staff, and the goals they would like to achieve.
Behavior specialists identify and evaluate the causes of problem behaviors for individuals who may have a range of developmental disabilities, backgrounds of abuse and neglect, and mental health diagnoses. Specialists then work with the individual, the family, and other supports to develop strategies to prevent, minimize, and/or eliminate problem behaviors. Specialists also develop and recommend interventions and teach skills to help the individual be successful in their home and community. Hands-on training to families and teams is provided to ensure that behavior interventions benefit and support the family as well as the individual.
