Student dentists provide care, under the supervision of licensed Utah dentist faculty members. Cost of services may be lower than at a traditional dental office. Services include general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and emergency dental care.

Description:

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) student dentists provide care, under the supervision of licensed Utah dentist faculty members, usually at much lower cost than private-practice dentists.

Eligibility:
Children 4 years and older, although exceptions may be made for younger children in some cases.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call for appointment. Messages outside of business hours will be forwarded to an answering service.
Fees:
Initial screening and consultation to determine eligibility at no cost. Please call for detailed prices. Accepts Medicaid and CHIP, and provides documentation for reimbursement for private insurance. Payment plans available.

Some cases exceed students' ability and patient may be referred to another dentist or specialist. Serves individuals with physical & intellectual disabilities, seniors, the medically compromised, and individuals with complex dental needs.

Emergency care for dental problems resulting in pain, visible swelling, or bleeding. These may be a result of dental infections, dental decay, or recent oral trauma. Emergency care at Roseman University is only for temporary relief of symptoms and not a substitute for comprehensive care by a personal dentist.

Eligibility:
Urgent Care Clinic: Adults and children age 4 and older (some exceptions apply).
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call for appointment or walk in at least 15 minutes prior to closing. Messages outside of business hours will be forwarded to an answering service. Patients on record may consult with a dentist after-hours by calling the main phone.
Fees:
Initial screening and consultation to determine eligibility are at no cost. Once accepted as patient, please call for detailed prices that cover the cost of the dental exams, necessary x-rays, and other required treatments. Accepts Medicaid and CHIP, and
