Safe Harbor Crisis Center

Emergency cold weather beds available as a part of expanded capacity due to Code Blue. Relaxed intake requirements and expedited intake.

Volunteers help raise funds for Safe Harbor as part of the Evergreens Benefit Committee.

Volunteers needed in daily operations projects at the crisis center, court volunteers, crisis response volunteers, outreach center volunteers, special projects, fundraising, etc. Other opportunities include the offering of support, resources, and referrals to victims.

Rape Crisis trained professionals are available to provide on-site support during a rape exam, offer counseling, and advocacy. On-going support groups help survivors cope with the after effects of assault.

Partners with local animal shelters to board a pet for up to one month.

Each family has their own private, secure room and unrestricted use of the fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and outdoor playground. People experiencing domestic abuse can seek shelter 24-hours a day, seven-days a week. In addition to shelter, residents receive support services, counseling, group enrollment, food, clothing, and household goods.

Assists with the protective order or stalking injunction process. An advocate will discuss qualifications and options, assist with paperwork, file with the court, and accompany victims to the protective order hearing.

Provides information and resources to help those in need determine what they would like to do. All services are free. Advocates work with individuals as they remain in the community to provide safety planning, counseling, education, connection to resources, and support groups.

24/7 Crisis support for domestic abuse and sexual assault survivors, or family, friends, or others impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

Provides safe two and three bedroom apartments. Families rent the apartments for up to two years. Each adult and child receives individual case management designed to help survivors become self-sufficient and move toward a life free of violence.

Provides sexual assault examinations in Davis County. Nurses provide trauma-informed and patient-centered care to survivors of sexual assault. Sexual assault examinations include medical care, STI preventative medications, emergency contraception, and timely evidence collection and documentation of the sexual assault to aid in the investigation and prosecution.

Offers individual and group support for domestic abuse and sexual assault survivors. Trauma-informed, confidential therapy is offered for survivors, and also for children and youth ages 10 and older. There are support groups for adults, and one for teens.

Offers counseling and support groups for those experiencing domestic abuse and/or sexual assault survivors. Support Groups specifically for children who have witnessed domestic violence help children communicate their feelings and develop coping and conflict resolution skills. Childcare provided during weekly domestic violence support groups and parenting classes.
