Salt Lake City Mission

An inner-city ministry which primarily serves the homeless and impoverished. Common issues include alcohol and drug dependencies, work ethics and anger issues, poverty, life skills, budgeting, or any other life-controlling problems. Offers food, clothing, and street outreach. Free school supplies at the start of each school year.

Description:

Substance Use Disorder Counseling
Description:

Men's long term program offering drug and alcohol recovery, life skills, anger management classes, and most of all, loving support. Crisis intervention.

Eligibility:
Men. 8 month or longer commitment.
Service Hours:
Office Hours: M - F 9 am - 3 pm; counseling days and times may vary.
Intake Procedure:

Christmas Meals
Description:

Christmas day meal will be served at the Christian Life Center, 1055 North Redwood Road. Main dish and sides provided as well as hot beverages. Small gifts provided for every child that comes and some small gifts for adults. Also available will be blankets, clothing, and hygiene kits.

Open to all, but mainly for homeless people.

M December 25, 2023 7 am - 3 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in; first come, first served. Buses will provide rides to and from all Resource Centers (Gail Miller, Geraldine E King, South Salt Lake Men's, Family Midvale Shelter) during the meal, starting at 7 am.
