Developmental screenings for children with developmental delays. A home-based program which provides services to families to promote developmental skills for children who are newborn to age three with disabilities, or at risk for developmental delays.

Description:

A primarily home-based program which provides services to families to promote developmental skills for children who are newborn to age three with disabilities, or at risk for developmental delays. This and other Early Intervention programs are available statewide through the Utah Department of Health. They also offer virtual help and some group services are now being offered.

Eligibility:
Children birth to 3 years of age who have significant health problems, including failure to thrive, significant behavioral difficulties, physical disabilities, vision or hearing impairments, feeding or sleep issues, or delays in speech or communication, problem solving, or learning.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call to schedule an evaluation at no cost.
Fees:
Services on a sliding scale.Families who receive FEP/TANF, WIC, Early Head Start program, PCN, Medicaid, or CHIP have a zero fee for services. Testing for ALL children is at no cost.
