TURN Community Services - Utah County

Serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based programs. TURN supports children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, or other developmental disabilities.

Description:

Individualized support for people to live in apartments and group homes ranging in size from one to eight residents. These programs focus on developing essential life skills, including cooking, grooming, personal finances, shopping, home maintenance, and community involvement through sports and recreation, transportation training, cultural events, and continuing education.

Eligibility:
Based on criteria established by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). TURN serves persons referred to and funded by DSPD. Families/clients who wish to privately pay for support services may contact the office for more information.

Description:

Group homes provide evening, morning, and overnight staff for those requiring intensive medical or other specialized support. Group homes are located in Box Elder, Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, Utah, Iron, and Washington Counties. Supervised living in apartments or small homes can provide up to 24-hour supervision and support.
Supported Community Living provides hourly support in client's own home. Offered in Provo, St George, Cedar City. Richfield does not have group homes but they do offer supported living.

Eligibility:
Serves people of all ages who may have mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, or other developmental disabilities. Eligibility criteria is established by the Division of Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD). TURN serves persons referred to and funded by DSPD. Families/clients who wish to privately pay for support services may contact the office for more information.
