Turnabout/Stillwater Academy

Helps give teens ages 12-17 with mild to moderate emotional, behavioral, and/or substance abuse problems from all over the world, with most residing within the US, the chance to step out of their destructive patterns and make a choice to change for the better and move back into a better life through therapeutic care with residential treatment facilities, psychiatric day treatment, and substance use disorder day treatment.

Child/Adolescent Residential Treatment Facilities
Description:

Helps youth (12-17) struggling with a wide range of issues find health, healing, and happiness, by providing them and their families with the education, support, and resources to help themselves.

Eligibility:
Girls and boys, ages 12-17, who have a history of mild to moderate emotional and behavioral problems, low self-esteem, defiance, academic underachievement, mild substance abuse, and/or family conflict.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:

Fees:
Accepts private pay and private insurance. Some discounts and scholarships available.

Substance Use Disorder Day Treatment
Description:

Helps youth ages 12-17 struggling with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and/or substance abuse issues find health, healing, and happiness, by providing them and their families with the education, support, and resources to help themselves.

Psychiatric Day Treatment
Description:

Employs the following types of individualized treatment techniques: Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Reality Therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, 12-Step Approach, Spiritual Principles, and Strength-Based Approach.
