Provides head start, early head start, education, and related volunteer opportunities.

Description:

Home visits focus on parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being, based on strengths, capabilities, and skills as well as building protective factors within the family. Program serves a range of families with high needs - not just first time parents. Assists pregnant parents or teen parents - and offers services from birth to kindergarten entry. Families with children under age 3 are most likely to receive services.

Eligibility:
At-risk families with children under the age of 5.

Description:

Dual partnership with Early Head Start. Families are able to drop kids off for quality early learning opportunities while in daycare.

Eligibility:
Children ages 6 weeks to 36 months old. Must be enrolled in both Early Head Start and partner site. Priority given to those receiving child care subsidy, children with special needs, foster children, and homeless families.

Looking for volunteers to help provide families with preschool experiences that will help children develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. Opportunities available to individuals, groups (2 - 10 people), families and people with disabilities.

Youth (13- 17); adults 18 and older. Must pass a background check.
