Public library providing services for people with disabilities through materials accessible to the blind and disabled. Provides reading services for people with disabilities and is always seeking volunteers.

Disability Related Libraries
Description:

Provides materials found in public libraries in formats accessible to the blind and disabled. Books and magazines are available in braille, in large print, on audio cassettes, and in the form of audio books.

Eligibility:
Residents of Utah who cannot read regular print because of a visual, physical, or reading disability.
Service Hours:
M - F 8 am - 5 pm

Reading Services for People With Disabilities
Description:

Provides materials found in public libraries in formats accessible to the blind and disabled. Books and magazines are available in braille, in large print, on audio cassettes, and on audio digital books. Book narrators, editors, and volunteers needed to come to library for one or more hours a week.

Library Assistant Volunteer Opportunities
Description:

Volunteers are needed to record and edit recordings of books for the blind or visually impaired. Commitment of 1-2 hours per week.
