Provides educational materials, newsletters, and workshops to the public in areas of home economics and finance, healthy relationships, horticulture, agriculture, 4-H Youth programs, community development, and water quality. Includes food production support services, personal financial counseling, water resources conservation, nutrition and home management instruction, parenting skills classes, relationship workshops, youth agricultural programs, and public awareness education.

Description:

Parenting the Love and Logic Way class: Parents learn ways to raise responsible children and methods to make parenting less stressful. Fathering with Love and Logic class: For fathers, or those in fathering roles, wanting to teach responsibly without losing a child's affection. Smart Steps for Step Families: 6-week no cost course that meets once a week for two hours and is for dating, cohabitating, or remarried couples who have a child or children from a previous relationship. The whole family is invited to come and learn.

Eligibility:
Must be 18 years or older and be in a parenting role (parent or legal guardian) for parenting courses; Entire family is invited to Smart Steps.
