Provides supervised, residential detoxification services for Salt lake County men, 18 years and older, who need support during withdrawal from alcohol or other addictive substances. Related volunteer opportunities available.

Donations coordinator volunteer to assist in sorting and organizing clothing donations for clients. Opportunities available to individuals and groups up to 10.

Description:

A social model detox program that focuses on creating a safe and trauma informed environment, where men 18 years and older can manage their intoxication and withdrawal symptoms to prepare for long term recovery. In the 83 bed residential facility, men can stay for 14 days, receiving 3 meals a day, case management, access to medication assisted treatment, peer support, and 12 step meeting.

Eligibility:
Men 18 years and older who are intoxicated or in acute withdrawal from addictive substances.

Intake Procedure:
Call to check bed availability. Adult male residents of Salt Lake Country can check themselves in if they have taken drugs in the past 72 hours.
Fees:
Sliding fee scale for individuals unable to afford treatment. Those who do not qualify can still access services at $115 per night.
