Weber County Attorney's Office and Victim Witness Program

Upholds the public's trust in the pursuit of justice and enforcement of the law. Offers crime victim support, district attorney, and legal service volunteer opportunities.

Description:

Responsible for a wide array of legal functions for Weber County, including prosecuting violations of felony and class A misdemeanor criminal laws, including juvenile delinquency offenses. Representing and advising the county commissioner and other county departments on legal matters, working with numerous community partners to eliminate domestic violence and protect children who are victims of abuse and neglect, and supporting victims through what can be a complicated and confusing court process.

Weber County Residents, cases prosecuted within Weber County.

Assists victims during the criminal process and provides referrals to the appropriate resources.

Eligibility:
Any victim of an unreported, pending, or ongoing criminal charge/crime within Weber County.

Contact the local police agency where the crime was committed to file a report. Call for information on connecting with a Victim Witness Coordinator.
