Assisting families and individuals in seeking and obtaining affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing in Weber County. Strives to promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide participants the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non subsidized housing. Includes home rehabilitation loans, and down payment loans and grants. Also offers street outreach program.

Description:

Down payment assistance loan/grant available to households wishing to locate within Weber County. Funding is limited, call for availability and timeline of when funds are or will be available. Up to $5000 loan; $4000 is forgiven if home is lived in for 5 years. Repayment arrangements will be made.

Must meet income guidelines; first time home buyers.

Description:

Offers a rental assistance program for low-income households through Housing Choice Vouchers. Through the Permanent Supportive Housing Program and Shelter Plus Program offers rental assistance linked with case management for homeless or disabled households.

Income qualifications based on family size; call for other eligibility factors.

Description:

Assists families and individuals in seeking and obtaining affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing in Weber County. Administers federal housing programs for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, including the: Housing Choice Voucher Program, Supportive Housing Program, Shelter Plus Care Program, and Mainstream Voucher Program.

Description:

Assists low and moderate-income households with minor home repairs with low-interest loans up to $3000. Cannot be used toward roof replacement. Repayment plans are available as low as $50 per month, or after the sale of the property. Lien is filed on the home until payment is made in full. Replacement of refrigerator or stove is allowed.

Offers basic case management to those that do not access shelter services, or that do not stay in the shelter long enough to access case management services. Provides canned food and hygiene supplies. Interested individuals can transition from homelessness into the housing program.
