Weber State University Military-Affiliated Student Center

Assists military members and entitled family members in using their educational benefits. Help veterans prepare for and succeed in post-secondary education. Tutoring services also available.

Description:

Program designed to help eligible veterans refresh their academic skills and build the confidence they need to successfully complete a college degree.

Eligibility:
Veterans who have served least 181 days active duty OR Was a member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces called to active duty for a period of more than 30 days (at least 31 days) on or after September 11, 2001, or was called to active duty for less than 30 days to serve in support of a contingency operation on or after September 11, 2001.
And be one of the following: Potential first-generation college graduate (neither parent graduated from college) or low-income.

M - Th 8 am - 4:30 pm; F 8 am - 4 pm

Description:

Services for Veteran Students include academic/career counseling, GI Bill assistance, scholarship assistance, VITAL, social activities, link to Veterans Senator, tutoring through Veterans Upward Bound, and advocacy.

Eligibility:
Military-Affiliated students with Dept of Veteran Affairs or Service Branch Tuition Assistance eligible attending or interested in attending Weber State University.
