Eligibility
Assistance is based on program eligibility requirements, available funding, and staff availability to take on new clients. Funds are provided to families or individuals in crisis when the family or individual can demonstrate that a default or arrears (rental) was caused by circumstances beyond the family or individual's control, which significantly affected their ability to pay. There are daily assessments for program eligibility.

Description

Empowers individuals, strengthens families, and builds communities through education and self-sufficiency programs. Programs and services include crisis intervention for housing, including rent and rent deposit assistance, food, weatherization, utility assistance, homeless diversion programs and services, and adult education. Offers coordinated homeless services through the Homeless Resource Line. Provides assistance with the Rent Relief Utah application process.
